| Cooper and Turner have been manufacturing HSFG bolts, nuts and hardened washers in specially formulated weathering steel for use in weathering steel structures for over thirty years.
The bolts, nuts and hardened washers are made to the dimensions and mechanical properties of BS4395 Part 1, General Grade and are manufactured from steel with the chemical composition of ASTM A325 Type 3A material.
This steel has an atmospheric corrosion resistance and weathering characteristics comparable to that of structural grades of weathering steel, but contain additional alloying elements which enable it to be heat treated to the high tensile levels required of fasteners.
Weathering steel HSFG fasteners are only available in diameters M24 and M30

The steel for Cooper and Turner's weathering steel fasteners, which have been used throughout the world, is supplied by Corus.
